Giveaway Policy

Periodically, this blog hosts giveaways for the readers. These events may be self-sponsored by the blog owner or may be sponsored by another individual, business or corporation. I try to be as transparent as possible, but this may or may not be plainly stated in the actual giveaway.  If you need further clarification, please don’t hesitate to ask.

All giveaways, unless otherwise stated, will follow these guidelines:

~ Giveaways are hosted for the purpose of fun only and are in no way meant to be a form of gambling or sweepstakes.

~ Giveaways are open only to individuals in the continental USA, 18+ unless otherwise noted.

~ Winners will be chosen via Rafflecopter or Random.org.

~ A valid email address will be used for verification, and by entering your email address, you are giving permission to have your email added to our mailing list. You will still get a verification or confirmation email and may decline or unsubscribe from our list at any time.

~ Giveaways may be promoted on Facebook, Instagram, email or any other social media network site I deem appropriate. Any promotions on those sites are not to be interpreted as Facebook, Instagram, or any other network sponsoring, nor are they in any way responsible for that particular giveaway.

~ Clear start and end dates with times will be given on each giveaway. All times are given in Standard Central Time Zone.

~ After being notified via email, which was used to enter into the giveaway, the Winner will have 48 hours to claim their prize. Another winner will be chosen if the prize is not claimed within the 48-hour time frame.

~ I agree to mail the prize to the winner(s) within 14 days of being claimed. In the event that the giveaway is not self-hosted by me please refer to the giveaway host for specifics on mailing out claimed prizes. In some cases, the prize fulfillment period could be as long as 180 days, depending on the specific companies policy.

~I try to choose the companies I work with carefully. I will only work with them if I believe they are honest and reputable! Online anything is possible and I cannot be held liable in the event a sponsor does not fulfill the winner(s) prize. I do promise that if this should ever happen, I will do whatever I can to make sure that company makes good on their promise. I cannot make any guarantees to the outcome. I truly hope this never happens, though stranger things have happened.

~ By entering into any giveaway you agree to be honest and uphold integrity. Any indication that an entrant is attempting to cheat the system will lead to the entrant’s disqualification from this giveaway as well as any future giveaways. Fraud will not be tolerated!
